British Riding Clubs SEIB National Horse Trials Championships held at Aston-le-Walls on 7 & 8 August 2010.
Our Meon novice team had qualified for this event but were down to a team of 3 due to Sophia Halder's Condor being lame. The other three had a great time - Chrissy Hughes on Harry, Ony Rogers on Dollar and Barbara Wood on Simply Seamus (Barbara replaced Sharon Ede from the original qualifying team). It was very demanding, as it was a two day event including Roads and Tracks and Steeplechase. Although the team was not placed, Barbara WON the best placed individual over 45 and came THIRD in her arena. A really major achievement.
